Antarctic Jacket with Windstopper
$299.95
This is a very warm jacket made with the same dual-layer principle as our Arctic Collection, but with thicker Merino wool on the outside. We have also added a soft middle layer with windstopper in front. The Super Thermo mesh inner layer effectively regulates body temperature, keeps you dry and gives extra isolation.
The jacket is perfect as midlayer on very cold days – or as outer layer in drier conditions when weight is not the primary consideration. Antarctic Jacket is made to the high specifications required for expedition work, while still having the relaxed comfort of everyday wear. Popular for hunting, hiking, mountaineering, professional and casual use.
For optimal moisture transport, we recommend wearing Super Thermo mesh next to the skin. On cold days you may also add a Classic merino wool midlayer under the jacket.

Description
Antarctic garments are very warm, with the same dual-layer principle (wool and mesh) as our Arctic Collection. Most of the garments have wind protective mid-layers; the Antarctic jacket with hood and full windstopper is completely covered, while the Antarctic pants do not have a windstopper membrane at all.
Antarctic jacket is perfect as mid-layer on very cold days – or as outer layer in drier conditions when weight is not the primary consideration. The jackets and pants are made to the high specifications required for expedition work, while still having the relaxed comfort of everyday wear. Popular for hunting, hiking, mountaineering, professional and casual use.
Both the jackets and pants come in a loose fit and are unisex unless otherwise specified.

Laundry Instructions
Wool is a natural fiber which does not to be laundered regularly. A global wardrobe survey in 2015 by AC Nielsen confirmed that wool garments have a longer life than cotton – as much as 50% longer. Merino wool can be worn multiple time between washings which will prolong the garment life and protect the environment. The synthetic fibers like Schoeller® Polycolon can be machine washed and hung to dry.
Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle with cool water (not to exceed 85°F).
Line dry. Do not tumble dry.
Do not use bleach.
Do not use fabric softener.
Do not dry clean.
