Exceptional warmth and moisture control in an extremely lightweight base layer. The ST T-shirt can be worn all four seasons as the mesh design provides warmth when the second layer closes the air cells yet will cool when the second layer is opened to allow air to pass over the skin. Description
Brynje original Super Thermo (ST) mesh is made from 100% Schoeller® Polycolon® synthetic yarn, knitted into a 3/8″ open weave mesh that provides 4 to 6 times the insulating power of any solid knit by weight. The polypropylene yarn absorbs virtually no moisture while the mesh design allows perspiration to pass through the garment in vapor form. Nothing wet against the skin!
Polypropylene also has a very high strength to weight ratio providing super light garments designed to withstand years of extreme use. Brynje Super Thermo base layers have been used extensively in expedition work and are worn by Special Forces troops across the globe. Brynje ST garments are not just ideal for high intensity, cold weather activities. Because of the thermostatic qualities of the mesh, these base layer garments are exceptional for warm weather use as well. “Making the case for synthetic mesh base layers.”

All sizes are averages and approximate. Your size may vary depending based on your body shape and the model.
Mesh base layers are generally quite stretchy in all directions and are cut long. As the girth increases the length will decrease
Generally the Women’s sizes will be one size smaller than Unisex. I.E. a Unisex SM is equivalent to a Women’s MD.
Laundry Instructions
Wool is a natural fiber which does not to be laundered regularly. A global wardrobe survey in 2015 by AC Nielsen confirmed that wool garments have a longer life than cotton – as much as 50% longer. Merino wool can be worn multiple time between washings which will prolong the garment life and protect the environment. The synthetic fibers like Schoeller® Polycolon can be machine washed and hung to dry.
Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle with cool water (not to exceed 85°F).
Line dry. Do not tumble dry.
Do not use bleach.
Do not use fabric softener.
Do not dry clean.

I’ve been wearing Brynje and Wiggy’s net underware for years. Both are excellent in different regards. I like the “feel” of the Brynje brand, but honestly the “holes” in the weave would be more effective at their intended purpose if they were slightly larger. The Wiggy’s brand has larger holes and does a better job of transporting the moisture, but the material doesn’t have any stretch or “give” and isn’t as comfortable when moving around. I also agree with another reviewer that it would be nicer if Brynje would put their logo on the hem and not centered on the neckline. (I cut them off, so I can wear the garment under dressier clothing without looking like a basketball player advertising Nike.

Bought the item primarily to see if it would help me keep cool in hot/humid weather {Southeast U.S.}. It didn’t seem to do the trick. This is not to say it’s a bad/worthless pc. of clothing. The net design does have some temperature regulating abilities, but fighting the humidity here in the south is a tough assignment. I have had a net short sleeve shirt years ago and used it in Norway in their cold wx. training. Worked great. This garment is way better than that one. I may try it again but if it doesn’t work I’m not disappointed, it will get a workout come the cool weather of fall/winter. Get one, you won’t be disappointed.

The last mesh shirt I had, many yers ago, was made of wool. This one works well in humid or wet conditions and is more comfortable next to the skin. I use mine as the first layer under my dry suit (diving). Agree with the comment concerning the logo.

Great except for logo on neck

Well made and very light. Does help with moisture management which is always a problem with outdoor activities in winter or summer. I had a mesh tee shirt many years ago (made by Synergy Works I think). That shirt is long gone now, but I am glad that I was able to stumble upon the Brynje shirt. Thanks for a quality item.
