Description
The Wool Thermo (WT) mesh collection is made with Schoeller® 80% Merino wool and 20% polyester yarn providing excellent warmth when damp and superior odor attenuation. Brynje’s classic 3/8″ open weave design provides 4 to 6 times the insulation value of any solid knit by weight. The mesh design also allows moisture to transport to the outer layers in vapor form thus keeping you dry during periods of high activity.
Brynje’s WT Merino wool blend is very soft against the skin and has greater strength and durability than 100% Merino wool yarns. In addition, Merino wool’s great odor management properties means more uses between washings which protects both the garment and the environment. These garments are a great choice for virtually all conditions and activities.

All sizes are averages and approximate. Your size may vary depending based on your body shape and the model.
Mesh base layers are generally quite stretchy in all directions and are cut long. As the girth increases the length will decrease
Generally the Women’s sizes will be one size smaller than Unisex. I.E. a Unisex SM is equivalent to a Women’s MD.
Laundry Instructions
Wool is a natural fiber which does not to be laundered regularly. A global wardrobe survey in 2015 by AC Nielsen confirmed that wool garments have a longer life than cotton – as much as 50% longer. Merino wool can be worn multiple time between washings which will prolong the garment life and protect the environment. The synthetic fibers like Schoeller® Polycolon can be machine washed and hung to dry.
Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle with cool water (not to exceed 85°F).
Line dry. Do not tumble dry.
Do not use bleach.
Do not use fabric softener.
Do not dry clean.

Great layer, comfortable and warm

This a perfect layer for wearing under cycling jerseys for summer and fall riding

Love the softness of the fabric. The wool thermo is more comfortable against the skin than the regular synthetic mesh (which is not an issue for me on the legs, but is on my torso and arms). The material is also more delicate than the synthetic, but I have had good success with putting wool thermo into a mesh laundry bag, then machine washing cold on a gentle cycle in a front-loading washing machine. I do wish they didn’t have such a noticeable (black) brand tag sewn onto the front of the neck of this off-white shirt (I carefully removed it with a seam ripper). As with all of the Brynje mesh garments, I like the improved ability of sweat to evaporate compared to non-mesh clothing — good for any situation where perspiration is potentially an issue. And in cold weather, mesh garments weigh less to pack than non-mesh items of comparable warmth.

I have wore it every day from the time I got it till now it’s soft and works unbelievably to keep you warm and dry I shoveled snow and got sweaty but I never got chilled it took the wetness right away from me and outer layer. I do maintenance at appt building so a lot of shoveling
I will be getting one more
