Super Micro is a fine variation of the original Super Thermo net. Produced with the same Schoeller® Polycolon® yarn but knitted with smaller stitches. The finer mesh helps reduce turbulence of trapped air when there is porosity in the outer layer while still allowing moisture to transport through the garment. This makes Super Micro garment perfect under cycling jerseys, Nordic kits and alpine speed suits.

Mesh base layers are generally quite stretchy in all directions and are cut long. As the girth increases the length will decrease
Generally the Women’s sizes will be one size smaller than Unisex. I.E. a Unisex SM is equivalent to a Women’s MD.

Wearing is believing! After seeing ads for these products in Outside and Cross Country Skier magazines, I finally “took a chance” on these products. I really didn’t take a chance because Brynje USA provides superior customer service. I purchased this shirt, the Thermo Tee with inlay, and the boxer shorts. Each of these products have dramatically improved my comfort in outdoor activities. My use has been limited to late autumn and temperatures ranging from damp and 40 F, to 18 F and windy. Activities have been mountain biking, running, roller skiing, and for periods of two hours. These products perform exactly as described. If you are active, they won’t stop you from sweating, but they manage moisture to stop the chill. Also — and this is key — I have used and love merino base and mid-layers. The Brynje products as the next to skin layer makes merino, and every part of your layering system work better. So far, I find I only need to adjust zippers on my outer layer to control body temp. Deeper in winter, adding and dropping the top layer may come into play, but for chilly temps, the layers I start with are the ones I wear the whole time. I am certain these products will continue to serve me well when I am mountain biking, snowshoeing or skiing with temps below 0 F. I also bought the Wool Thermo with zip neck, but returned that because the neck didn’t work for me. (All of my mid-and outer-layers have zippered necks, so there is not enough space. I will comment on the other products I have purchased.
