All sizes are averages and approximate. Your size may vary depending based on your body shape and the model.
Mesh base layers are generally quite stretchy in all directions and are cut long. As the girth increases the length will decrease
Generally the Women’s sizes will be one size smaller than Unisex. I.E. a Unisex SM is equivalent to a Women’s MD.
Laundry Instructions
Wool is a natural fiber which does not to be laundered regularly. A global wardrobe survey in 2015 by AC Nielsen confirmed that wool garments have a longer life than cotton – as much as 50% longer. Merino wool can be worn multiple time between washings which will prolong the garment life and protect the environment. The synthetic fibers like Schoeller® Polycolon can be machine washed and hung to dry.
Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle with cool water (not to exceed 85°F).
Line dry. Do not tumble dry.
Do not use bleach.
Do not use fabric softener.
Do not dry clean.

This was a gift for my husband who is an avid cyclist. He absolutely loves it for his winter rides!

It work s just as describe. When to the mountain and it kept me warm.

The perfect under layer for cold weather cycling. You are warm even when sweating. It allows the moisture to come off your skin. Light weight. Comfortable. Arm length is more than enough. Torso long enough to tuck in. I got an xl and I have 44” chest and 34” sleeve length. Going to get more.

Only worn it a couple of times (got in the spring) but I can tell it’s going to work great just like the other Brynje baselayers have. The mesh is a little tighter than a previous buy but has the same effect as the l/s shirts w/ slightly larger openings. I had experience in Norwegian cold weather training w/ similar garment (although not as good as this one) but kind of forgot about the effectiveness of these designs but re-discovered them and I can’t get enough of them. Such a simple design and concept you almost can’t explain why you didn’t think of it before. Get one, you will not regret it.

Having owned several of the “standard” wool thermo tops, I was looking for something that felt more comfortable after many hours under a big pack. Similarly, I wanted to be able to wear the base-layer alone when conditions warmed-up. This top excels in both contexts AND I find that it layers better under a 250 merino top in general. You get the classic Brynje functionality in a more comfortable weave, especially in areas prone to compression like under pack straps and along the lumbar pad. Dry, comfy, warm when you need it…why buy anything else?

Durable, accurate sizing, sleeves long enough. The mesh allows better warmth AND cooling than similar weight solid garment.

They work and in my opinion better than other base layers on the market. I was skeptical until I tried them. Now I’ve got the tops, bottoms and socks. Kinda wish I knew about them when I was in the Army, it would have made cold weather training more bearable.
